I adopted my daughter from Orel 10 years ago...2001. If you have more video of the orphanage I would love to see it so I could show her. We didn't take any video while we were there

It was so cool she got to go back! I eventually want to adopt internationally and I think its important when they're older to see their birthplace in person.

there's a russian tv show that helps to reconnect for people. It helped for a lot of people to find each others.

where in russia was this orphanage.. i dont know why but it looks alot like the pictures where my mom adopted me.. is in yekaterinburg (i dont know how to spell)

yay fer russian adoptions! i was adopted 12 yrs ago from siberia...doubt ill b returning but i gotta gud life here and thts all tht matters now

I was adopted too...Detsky Dom 13 if I recall correctly. Came here bout 13 years ago since I was adopted at age 10 and been longing to go back and visit...never happened but that's about to change hopefully with my new job. Stil remember my moms name and everything and been trying to contact...if anyone knows the best way to go bout this please let me know...thnks.
