You just made my LIFETIME worthwhile!! I have been dying to see a slate opening of the $20,000 Pyramid. New York Pyramid era openings are my weakness!!
Hope you can continue to make it worthwhile with more openings!! =D Take care!!
PS: Saw your collection and I'd KILL to see an Alan Kalter $50K opening or an early Cullen $25K opening...=D

@Doug4422 - Yeah, but it could've been a $15K win...on the $20K version, you played for $10K the first time, and $15K the second if it wasn't won, and then you played for $20K on all subsequent attempts.

@devares2006 - Kinda...it's actually Robert Hegyes, who played Epstein on Welcome Back Kotter.

@megamanj2004X Yeah, you hear Dick Clark talking about Chuck Barris.
-
@doggysector, Dick Clark was 49 years old when he did this episode. His 50th birthday was on November 30, 1979.

Is it just me or does the dude with the afro look like The Rock?
-
@eurotomm She played April Scott on "Edge of Night from 1977-81 then went on to "Another World" in 1982-84.
-
I believe Terry Davis was on Another World as stacey Winthrop
Did the $50,000 pyramid have flashback intros like the 10000, 20000 and the 25000 versions?

The $50k version did not. Though on a couple tournament episodes the three contestants would stand in front of the big board similar to what the Davidson version did as the announcer mentioned that "one of these players must win $50,000 in cash this week on "The $50,000 Pyramid!"
