Many thanks to:

As far as I know that's the only video on Youtube about this hidden mode. However, it was never explained how he enabled this mode, so I sent him a PM and he told me how.

Just thought I'd make a video of this to show people that it works. I have also Googled for this mode, but never found any good answers.

This gives you 16 beat loops, but there are a few drawbacks. It's still a neat trick.

Hold down the BPM button and the Loop button, then turn on the Kaossilator. Release the buttons after you've turned it on to start making music.

  • Changed the name of the vid, 'debug' mode was probably a little misleading. I'd definitely say it's an 'undocumented mode' tho.

  • I got rid of mine cos it only had an 8 beat loop. Gutted, I'm going to get a new one now. Many thanx for sharing.

  • Its like a cheat code!!!

  • ...The 16 beats could all have been better illustrated with some definite percussion like a beat pattern from P.90 to P.99.

  • The Kaossilator Pro is really something and can be dialed to loop-length 16 without all this gesticulation.

Another undocumented feature: hold down Scale and tap Loop and you can get quickly back to the Program menu from any other menu like Scale, Key, Loop Length or bpm.

  • @VIPKYD The answer is that the Kaossilator ALSO has a line out at the BOTTOM for a 1/8" phono-plug jack, where earphones can go. You can connect either the RCA terminals at the top or the 1/8" jack. I use the latter, and connect to the AUX of my computer, record all sources and my videos have the full stereo sound of the Kaossilator and nothing but.

  • you can by speakers which attack tho the bottom...

  • I'm touched—really.

  • hahaha! comment of the year indeed!

  • hahaha, comment of the year. Hands down. Congratulations.

  • Oh true - hi did - 0:53

  • he could have connected the headphone jacks on the bottom to the computer.
