This WAS real. This was the Malmedy Massacre. The ammount of POWs were about 90-120. "Deacon", Sarge, "Hickey",Winley, and Gould were NOT real characters. Some of this movie is true though like the French house, hiding in the basement of a shed, and the German at the beginning lighting a cig for one POW.

True , most movies are made about the heroic and noble allied , and the evil bad axis . There are exeptions tough for exemple : Stalingrad .

yeah but i mean come on you never see a movie about the Axis or in that case any other Allies like the British or Canadians

4 5 or even 6 men can't do what these men have with creating that much damage to the enemy

they just make the Germans look soooo damn bad like not useing cover not shooting straight or anything like that

Sure , after theve made the landing they needed to organize and plan a bit . The Allied soldiers where all scattered around Normandie , wich made the Germans who knew the territory a lot easier to keep their defence .

Naah , they only made the movie like that to make it more sensational . Be honest , would u like to see a movie where the main character is a non-meaning douchebag ? Escpecially with WO 2 movies the character has " to deal some damage to the other side " .
