This band would be even better if it weren't for their pretentious and arrogant fans who rip on a singer who gets to tour the world while you sit in front of a computer. If u didn't guess already i think they're better with Anette.

lets just be honest. saw this right after the end of an era version. theres no freakin comparison, and the reason is not because the end of an era is an original recording, its cause no one can fill tarjas high pitches

@Imprezaman555 I'm fine with Annette. When shes singing song written for her (in the studio) she sounds fine. Live singing (even her own songs) Is NOT her thing..(And I know Tarja had some issues with it as well)

@MasterFhyl I agrre with you except for that I don't think it was dumb of them. I'd rather have Anette be with them so they can make awesome new music like Imaginaerum, can you imagine the kind the butchery that Tarja would have done to the vocals in that? I'd rather enjoy the old music sung by Tarja (except for some exceptions were I think Anette does a very good job) and also know that they will keep making new music in their own epic ever changing genre.

I understand that they want to play old songs, but force a singer to sing in a register that isn't theirs is WRONG. That's why that poor woman struggles so much.

The answer to "Who is better, Anette or Targa" Will always be "Marco".
On a side note, it was kind of a dumb move getting a singer who couldn't properly sing all of their old songs. I used to think it was because Anette couldn't sing, but I've heard her sing well, even live. She just has no business singing songs like this.

LOL Anette. In ANY genre, no one is supposed to sing JUST ANYTHING. Even the greatest sopranos would NOT sing every soprano role, you have to pick roles/songs you can actually sing. That universal rule definitely applies to you as well, and this is not a song for you, clearly. Even without the last phrase that you did not sing. Sad.. It's one of my fav NW songs ever..
