Folks, this is another 30th anniversary this year! Loading and playing this 1982 game successfully in 2012 on my last remaining working Sinclair ZX81 system. Enjoy watching gaming history!

I remember you could almost hypnotize yourself staring at the ZX81 loading screen. Space Raiders was always a very temperamental tape for me, you had to have the volume set exactly right or the loading check would fail.

I remember Space Raiders very well… second tape I ever loaded on my ZX81, after Sorcerer's Island/Perilous Swamp. I think I actually played Bomber (the B side) more than Space Raiders itself, though.
