omg, what a tear jerker. You describe the service of horses exactly how it should be; they are a proud servant, NOT a slave. We, as humans, have no right to exploit them and then just dismiss them when we're selfishly done with them. It's BS. They deserve dignity, respect, comfort, shelter and food until they are ready to leave this earth. God Bless.

awh i love this video its very nice and touching. made me have some tears in my eyes. thank you so much for rescuing him and bringin him to a better place. why on earth would someone one to shot a horse let alone any animal for no reason, they should just bring to someone or to a animal hosptial or shelter to help it go up for adoption

Aren't they just so trusting.. being dumped and then still have faith in the human beings.. Walking on the trailer with no idea where he is going; seems like he put his entire life into a human hand- trusting he will be treated with love and respect. I can't quite wrap my mind around it- animals being abused and still .....believing in the good in people..

Sitting here crying as I watch this... what a beautiful ending to a horrible story. The Gentle Barn is proof that angels walk among us, and they reside at Gentle Barn.
