No, they're not. Yes, their mouths are big enough for a person to fit in there, but their gullets/throats are way too small, designed to let through only small things like plankton. A person would never be able to go down the throat, so it's impossible for them to swallow people.

It really is - we were lucky enough to see his fin from about 500m away on a really calm day, and paddled up to meet him. It was really special.
