I saw a comment about the father being a not-so-nice word. I think he had his harder moments but the comment about him on the first video was too harsh. Canada is cold and you are inside nine months out of the year so i can see how a house would get messy. This is a great family and may God bless them and Kim and Mike too!

@MrBoonbaby Thank you for that. That amount and length of cold is just unimaginableA?! Here in our NZ summer right now we are swimming in rivers and the sea to try and cool down! in winter we think it's cold if it's less than 10 degrees and light the fire! What temps do you get in summertime and what part of the world (watched this ages ago, think it was Canada) Thanks!

@girlwhoclicked ....Let me help you out, weather has to be at least -10 C for a few weeks on end, not skating on a pool, a tarp is laid down followed by wooden boards to secure the tarp and makes a good barrier to keep the pucks in....then you simply fill the tarp with water, kinda like ice cubes, and you wait for the big freeze, usually get 8-10 weeks of good skating...kids have a blast!!!!Hoped this helps

What are they skating on in the back yard? We dont get that cold in NZ (thankfully!), so it's hard to understand, is it their pool?!
