  • can you turn the volume up and down on the internal speaker and is the speaker loud on the atari mod?

  • @allanbrito123 No, I didn't put a volume pot on it. The speaker is from an old answering machine (5 watts I believe) and the atari puts out the sound real nice with it (not to loud not to soft)... I dont use it much though, I just hook the audio cable up to the tv... I put it on there just in case a was lazy when I do hook it up and didnt want to attach the extra wire... lol

  • @allanbrito123 no.. cuz I didnt install the volume potentiometer... But yes it is plenty loud with a 5 watt speaker.. sounds just right :)

  • Man that modded Jr is nutty! How long does it last on a 9V battery? Mine doesn't have the big color bar across the entire width. It just has a teeny tiny one in the middle. I'm actually on Atari Age I'll check out that mod sometime. Don't know if I'd ever do it but I'll check it out.

  • It lasts about an hour on the 9 volt.
