@mxrdvr I turned 11 that year. I watched it when it first aired on TV. It scared me... and I still love it.

It scared me too back in 78! I turned 16 that year! It is good to see a movie that uses suspense and good acting rather than over-the-top special effects to scare people! There is a Dr. Who episode called "BLINK" that uses that same method!

I first saw this when I was 8 or 9 and loved it. Saw it recently and it actually holds up pretty well.
