UPDATE 10.31.12 Like many others, I was lucky enough to catch BART at 24th back when Jesse was a regular fixture. I didn't know him really, but I'd stopped and spoken with him a few times after watching him play - he was a sweet guy, gracious and humble, and really open about his life. One morning I asked if I could record a full song, and he said sure, as long as I put it on YouTube and tagged it with "jesse morris" and "punk rock". Since tags seem to be gone from the site now, I'd like to honor that request and respectfully add the following: JESSE MORRIS PUNK ROCK

Great Busker- Jesse was a singer...I am a guitarist. I play downtown BARTs, A Minister at SFrevival introduced me to Jesse, I came back to SF from Austin, he left for Hillbelly Heaven about a WeekLater. GOD BLESS THE POOR and TROUBLED. May Jesse meet Johnny Cash at the Door!
