A fair climate deal for the Pacific now

Oxfam's Wave of Change united people from around New Zealand to tell decision makers to Protect our Pacific.

Climate change costs lives. It's already having a devastating impact on poor communities in developing countries, particularly in the Pacific. Last year world leaders failed to agree to a fair and strong climate deal in Copenhagen. In November of this year they are gathering again, this time in Cancun. The problem has not gone away and neither has public concern that industrialised countries should be doing much more to help vulnerable communities on the front lines of climate change.
