I see it on the ferries everytime i travel down to france (usually last 2 weeks of august) and only played it a few times...gotta milk the 'rents for a couple o' nicker this year :)

You'll see plenty more this year, they've re-released the game in HD as "Sega Racing Classic" (as they lost the Daytona license)

I don't know to be honest, I've not played it.

Hopefully it does still, may least fave of the three songs, but it's memorable nonetheless.

@Naomi0111 Gaaah, my PC just can't handle it. CPU usage shoots up to 100% everytime and it runs slooowly. I think it's either my graphics card or my PC's amount of memory that's the weak link, as I've managed to get it to work just fine on one of the computers at work which has uses the same processor (Pentium 4) I use at home.

Nice comparison video, the Dreamcast version does have some nice graphics. I miss when Sega could make a good fun arcade racer like this.... This was Sega at there best.

@ScrewAttackEurope I just saw a few videos. The attract mode has a completely instrumental version of the song and the other videos are too loud to hear. However, the 333 Speedway has vocals.

Just download sega model 2 emulator and if your'e PC can handle it,,you can play the true arcade version on that in no time.I do.Good graphics card recommended,shader 2 and above and a dual core is more than needed.
