Not a stitch of evidence to support the effectiveness of "spinal decompression" (aka "traction"). It is re-wrapped, but no more effective that staying as active as you can. Quacks sell people on this bs.

It's true what they suggest about the level of pain and people simply cannot relate unless you have had it. On a "pain scale" it is said to be worse than the pain associated with childbirth, I would suggest a severe infection in the root of a tooth in the middle of the night starts to compare. Painkillers really do nothing except help you deal with the stress from the pain, not the pain itself. Can't sit, can't stand, can't walk, can't do anything without extreme pain.
