Amen. I couldn't agree more. It hasn't been the same for years but the Lou fangirls obviously had no problem when Lou struggled bigtime at 90% of the 14 shows that I attended during the '99,00, and 02 tours. It was Lou in name only. It certainly wasn't his fault as he was dealt a cruel hand but that was the fact of the matter...the shows were suffering.
The shows are a helluva lot better now...Mick knows it and 90% of the fans know it.

Can't people just respect the band for what it is now?? Things change, people move on, circumstances change, and people differ.... They are amazing past AND present! Good job Mick for keeping the name, talent, and legacy living on, where as it could have just fizzled out.....

In some cases it does revolve around the singer... Michael Sadler left SAGA, they just released a new album and it sucks hard. Unfortunatley SAGA hired a weak singer, but Michael Sadler is a Lou Gramm type, major voice... very hard to replace, lucky for Foreigner they got a good guy, Kelly rocks.

feargal: Just what is the "authentic group" in your eyes(like I have to ask)? Ever heard of Ian McDonald? Foreigner has never really been the same since Mick booted him out of the band after Head Games. Ian had a major impact on the "Foreigner sound"...just as much as Mick and Lou. Everything doesn't revolve around the singer.
