Building blast doors

I was asked to make a video on how to build this, so here you are.

Critical points: the center pistons need an AND gate, so they take 0.4 seconds to power and none to depower, and the side pistons need an OR gate so they take 0.4 seconds to DEpower and none to power. Everything else is about placing the cables.

Also, for some bizzarre reason related to Notch's code, the redstone wire without insulation can power up to two pistons vertically positioned, even with a solid block between the wire and the pistons (it cannot power three pistons, however). This has been used in the central pistons.

If you are wondering why I didn't use that "glitch" to power the side pistons, there is a reason: the upper central pistons would get intereference and power before the side pistons, and it woouldn't be good.

im having big problems with the 2 pistons set expending a the same time could u tell me why?

@Emmanuellol The trick to succesfully building this contraption is to use a redstone repeater to delay a branch of the activation signal, then a AND gate for the central pistons and an OR gate for the side pistons. Anyway, I have another video like this one, but with audio and comments, in this same list, which I think might help you better.

How did you get too many items to work with height damage values.

@scooter4549 The video was made with Minecraft 1.7.3, at that time the problem was solved thanks to a small patch. Now I have one of the saved slots of TMI with the cables and other stuff from RP2 I use often (stuff that I made in a workbench manually).
