Putting a new battery and some gasoline in it...and trying to start.

  • Those oddball coils give trouble. I replaced mine with a universal looking one when I noticed a blue glow surrounding the factory coil.

  • This is when cars were proper cars, not like the modern shit we have now. At least then you could do all your own maintenance, and not have to go to the main dealer and be ripped off, just for them to tell you what is wrong with your car.

  • Take sparkplugs out.

    Lube rings.

    Change oil.

    Clean filters and fresh oil.

    New battery and go. Check :)

  • my friends first car was one of these, he sprayed it white and fitted bodykit, looked cool but only had the 1.6 engine!

    I remember a rallycross manta with the 1.9 or1.8 (chain driver ohc) and twin 45dcoe's with rally cam and gasflowed head, that was all the mods!

    it came last but was still fast!
