Please note there is no merge. The left lane ends and the person who changes lanes must wait till the lane is clear, not just try to bluff a truck that cannot even see them. Note the camera's view is not the drivers view.
interesting perspective. however the a.hole raced from behind the truck and tried to push in front. Is it still the trucks fault? May be the truck should stop and wave all the cars from behind so they can get out of bed late and get to the front of the queue w/out pesky trucks

your both kind of at fault for this. But the only one that will get charged is the Car driver. How ever when you merge 2 lanes into one, the respectable way to do it is 1 car for 1 car. Meaning that one car goes by 1 car merges, 1 car goes by 1 car merges. This is selfishness on the larger vehicle for not letting the car in.
