Starting an Eastern Tools & Equipment 6KW diesel genset. It has not been started for at least two years and I'm certain the fuel is the same age. WHen it does start, be on the lookout for lots of smoke!

  • i'd rather get one of those old lister diesel copies than have one of these screaming at 3,600 rpm, ridiculous.

  • Not that bad? It is a "D" rating and the BBB warns people to not do business with them. Ok, fine go buy one Hundreds of complaints must be wrong. As for Aurora having the same generators you are clearly not looking hard enough and on "the other side" Don't have to promote the Aurora Brand, hundreds of public reviews do it all on their own. Smart shoppers will search for reviews and find out for them self. Fortunately no matter what you say here you can't hide from bad reviews :-)

  • what do you mean you had to jump start it with another batterie as there is a pull core on it!!!

  • I purchased a Duramax 7200 ? It leaked oil, so I sold it for $250.00.

But I was impressed with it. The ETQ also is impressive.

Very interesting the comments on the BBB.

  • Old K mart electric drill is a collectors item now.

  • I went to the BBB website as suggested. Yes, ETQ has an "F" rating. If you look further they show an incredibly large SIX (6) complaints in 36 months. The "F" rating is because they failed to respond to 4. IMHO...this is a ridiculous rating for a company that has only 6 complaints TOTAL - not "hundreds of complaints" as falsely reported. This generator does have above average reviews everywhere I have looked. I don't own one, but I hate false information...

  • If it starts that easy then why bother with dragging out a battery and shit?

  • @auroraron; I cecked the BBB site and its not that bad. But what I did find interesting is that AURORA ron commented on this being junk and a copy of AURORA generators. I searched your stuff, funny how you have the same China type generators. How low can you get trying to bash another generator, while trying to promote you same type. LOW LOW LOW. Get a life.

  • I've got one, works great. It's chinese though, so when it breaks I expect to throw it away.

  • Check out the Better Business Bureau ETQ has the worst possible ratings a company can get. Dozens and dozens of complaints. They are copies of Aurora Generators and they carry no parts. Junk Junk Junk.... Don't take my word for it, go search on the BBB website or any other public review site.
