What made Whitney Houston the Greatest Voice of All is not so much her legendary velvety vocals and muscular delivery but the fact that she has always sung from her heart.
Age will inevitably take the superficial beauties of her voice but that won't tarnish her legendary status.
Whitney Houston taught the world how to really sing -- and that is to sing with HEART and SOUL. And that is something noone will be able to take away from her.

Tina Turner is a bad example. Her voice is always husky, raspy and raw and though it is much more so now than ever....who would notice......that's her thing.

Nah. Not with a cd at the top of the charts. I think she needs to keep doing her thing. Not so good performance in terms of technicality but I love this cd. Any woman can get the praises that Oprah is stating today about her interview, must be doing something very right. Rumor has it that she brought the house down. We will see.

I really enjoyed the concert on GMA this morning. This clip does not show what I saw and heard from the ABC cameras. That's my opinion. In fact, I saw a few clips yesterday and was worried and then this morning I saw the show. She will be wonderful at the Grammys! Keep praying for her!!!

Of course it is different - especially considering the dubbing of various parts, including the whole chorus (1st) of this song. I hate to say it - but THIS is how she sounded. I am praying for her...may God bring back her voice - at least in Morocco 2008 version
