Wow, dude, that wasn't the best idea...
At least you didn't think you had to do sudo. I mean, as long as your root, who has to do sudo. If you had other partitions on the computer and they weren't mounted they would still work.

Yeah, har har. I have real machines I could have used for this, but a VM is much easier to fix.

This is just stupid. You probably can kill any system if you use a command to delete all files with superuser/root/admin rights. Any except if started from a live CD! Ha, ha.
