I loved the film, I'm glad you did too. Now, the film was recieved 50/50 good and bad, but 20 years from now, it'll probably be seen on the same level as the first three pictures.

What you waffling on about Critster???????
-
I have to say it sucked.
My reasons:
1. Aliens. Story was lame for a Indy film.
2. That kiddy transformers son, not a good Indy replacement.
3. Marion, a grown up woman still acting like a little girl like it was the first time just seemed out of place.
4. "Triple agent". The story seemed it was on rails at this point.
The intro was good and the nuke scene wasnt that controversial, I think. Lots of unrealistic stuff in older Indy films.

yh temple of dooms pretty good whats the name of the actress who played willie scot called
-
mmm, need to see Temple of Doom and Crystal Skull all the way through again
Haven't sat through all of Temple of Doom for years, and only seen Crystal Skull once back in May
-
i do agree with u there but then again if u compare temple of doom to the other indi films then it becomes i bit rubbish i'm not sayin temple of doom is rubbish cause it's not
-
the last crusade was better tho i do agree that this was better then the temple of doom
-
I wouldn't say it equals Last Crusade
Last Crusade has some very clever stuff
-
well i think your review is good but you must admit that th emonkey scene is more than unnecessary as well as the final shot of the UFO

I know X Files was a TV series, I used to watch them, and a movie after that also. I don't like it anymore. But I enjoyed young Indy series very much. I didn't said it would be mistake making tv series from Indy, it would be mistake making it from latest Indy (with aliens => X Files...), and with that writing, it simply couldn't be hit.
InsomniacScott, maybe now they should make a TV series of this film (just like X Files) for people like you :)

You know you could have just typed this all in one comment? Anyway, are you now trying to incuate making a tv series out of this character would be a mistake. I'm guessing you never bothered checking out The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles which was made about 15 years ago then?
Also get your facts right, The X Files was a TV series that was made in to a film, not the other way round. The chances of them making an adult based Indy series are slim to nothing, so you really are talking silly.

Spielberg and Lucas must have been on drugs. Come on ,Aliens?!! Lucas have lost it long time ago. Spielberg and Lucas can't live without aliens I guess. Nazis remains greatest vilains in movie history.

Lucas didn't exactly rock the world with the Star Wars prequels, but your argument here is flawed. Are you saying the Thugee in Temple of Doom made rubbish villains just because they weren't Nazis? I actually like the fact that like with Temple of Doom (and unlike with Last Crusade, which was still good but less original), they chose to go with a completely different villain, i.e. the Soviets.

InsomniacScott you're a moron. Or Lucas pays you to do this. Only X files fans and ''believers'' can say good things about this movie.

Trust me Lucas does not pay me to do this, and I happen to think the Star Wars prequels are not a patch on the original movies, so I am not a Lucas devotee. I have now seen this film twice and I stand by my opinion. I agree that aliens aren't quite as amazing as the Wrath of God, but I don't see why they are any less believeable. At least they tried something different, and didn't just do a rehash?
