Gregory was not only a talented French singer but also a wonderful example of life. He was born in La Tronche, May 13, 1983 and died Suresnes, 30 April, 2007
as a result of cystic fibrosis, a disease that was diagnosed from very early.
In 2004 with 21 years of age, he entered the contest Star Academy, TF1 and in December of that year, Gregory won the competition with a high number of votes. This allowed the young man realize his dream and record his first album with which a year later was undertake a tour.
While, he was in recording his second album, cystic fibrosis who suffered since childhood worsened and was hospitalized awaiting a lung transplant that never came.
Days later the gala, the TF1 issued a special show, called "Grégory : voix d'un ange" with the order to raise funds to fight cystic fibrosis.
After Gregory's death, his parents and his sister decided that the success achieved by Grégory should be used to raise awareness of society and the media and promote the fight for the rights of those with the disease. Thus in June 7, 2007 creates the "Association Grégory Lemarchal"
