Master Chief is Not the Main Character,
I've learned that Master Chief will NOT be the main character in the Halo movie.
Bungie Writing Director Joseph Staten in an interview with Level
Up stated that Master Chief will be a supporting character. Why?
"Where the Master Chief doesn't have a face... That's hard to carry
as a main character for an entire film. But you can certainly surround him with people who don't have helmets on and you can see their faces."
I was a little surprised, but after letting it settle I actually
think that's the right move.

Q: IMDB.com says the movie will be released in 2009, is that true?
A: No, this is purely a guess. The movie is not even shooting yet, but Microsoft is actively looking for distributer.
Q: I hear the movie is canceled, is that true?
A: No. There's a lot of negotiations going on with this
movie which is why it is taking so long. Peter Jackson is currently working on other projects while Microsoft finds a distributer.
However, Microsoft has stated time and again
that they want to make a Halo movie.

i recon if peter jackson and peter spielburg should work together into makeing this film or add gorge lucas to the picture halo based in like 2550 or something like that and gorge made 7 mean films well clone wars wasnt grate but any way if all 3 worked together halo would be so grate but that my apinion

Peter isn't the director. Do some research dude. He's going to be the producer.
