Just a quick video to announce that the first ever complete Super Mario 64 hack, "The Missing Stars", has been released :).

  • i cant use it..... i cant find a z64. file. i download Super mario 64 (u) (!) and when i try to extend it it wont work

  • I updated the description and included a link to a video which guides you through the patching process.

  • I try using Nemu64 but when i'm supposed to get to the file choosing thing,

    the game turns all white.

  • It says in the readme file it doesn't work with Nemu.

  • Thanks the game was amazing and actually a challenge you have to think about. Unfortunately my game froze during the final scene. As mario was falling with the wing cap he froze, and the music kept playing. I was using Mupen 64 on XP and it always freezes at the same place. Using frame advance the music kept playing on singular frames and only pausing the emulator would stop it.

  • Unfortunately, I'm not sure why sometimes it crashes on the ending. Does Mupen 64 has a "dump memory" function? I could see what's going on with a RAM dump when the game crashes.

  • Sorry, by the way, if i seem redundant in stating my problem.

  • Excuse me sir, may I ask you a question, one that has become very important to me? It seems that you are one of the few people to have changed the picture next to the lives counter( it is an M or an L now, instead of a Mario head,) I was wondering as to how you accomplish this? I have been looking for an answer for quite a while, & was hoping you may be able to solve this for me. It does not seem to be a texture,( the Mario head) and I cannot find it anywhere on the TT64 application.
