My video on some great uses for aloe vera gel. It's awesome stuff, and its natural too. Perfect for the dry (or wet!) and cold, winter weather.

  • Does an aloe plant have the same gel?

  • @GabbyCancemi Yes! I love the plants! Just cut open a leaf and that gel inside is the same thing!

  • Hi nice vd but am confused about something. I have stabilized aloe vera gel from the brand forever. And in my mind it is for drinking, can I use it too for my hair?

  • @NenehAissa Usually aloe vera gel for drinking is in liquid form, and doesn't have that gel-like consistency.. That means you obviously can't use it as hair gel or anything. But the other benefits of aloe such as vitamins and anti-inflammatory properties would still be in the liquid, so it would still benefit your hair, and do no harm, as long as you aren't buying the sugary aloe drinks they sell in the supermarket, which you aren't.. :)

  • WERE CAN I BUY ALOE VERA GEL

  • @skllz415 check your local health food store. or even a pharmacy or grocery store may carry it... better yet, buy an aloe plant! just make sure the aloe gel is 100% aloe. :)

  • @lilbluesnow yes it does. i'm african american with natural coarse kinky hair and it works very well as a hair gel...:)

  • @lilbluesnow use a blend of 100% aloe vera & olive oil, after u shampoo for 15 min, rinse it, dry & style it. It makes your hair stronger & grow as well. I use it right from the plant...100% natural. I also blend it with water & drink it, to keep me regular & clean.

At night, I use it on my face & legs to keep my skin silky & moist. I love this plant so much that I have about 8 plants growing in my back yard.. good luck.

  • @lilbluesnow I don't know if it's extra strong hold... but it does work! :)
