  • Why are you saying "like this" when we cant see you!

  • @BentQuarter there was supposed to be video but for some reason it did not record.

  • Is he wearing eye-liner?

  • @leo140485 no but i like to lol the one time i wore it.

  • @JaredPolin Btw, you mention in a few of your vids to keep the focus on the eyes... how do you do that? I use Auto-Focus and it kinda selects it's own focus points... if I change it to manual, I can manually move the Focus Point in the Viewfinder, but it doesn't focus the image. I have to use the focus ring... I own a D7000 + 50mm f1.4 and 18-200mm VRII...

  • @leo140485 If you go into AF-Single and than select your own focus points meaning not letting the camera select them than you can lock in where ever you want. I dont shoot in manual focus but I select my focusing points myself to lick them in where I want them. I may make a detailed video about this.

  • Another great video, thanks Jared.

  • Thanks! Great video. I really cant wait to see you on video actually having the subjects pose. I am interested in hearing your style of speaking to the subjects to get them to relax, I try to get mine to relax, but it's tough sometimes. Thanks for walking us through that edit as well. Great video! Five minutes, wow....

  • @SwisssBolla If I read the manual, I would've still "found out" that way. But if you knew the answer to my question, then you should put the answer down, or just ignored it. Your comment was more patronising and sarcastic than helpful. Let's face reality, no-one wants to read the manual... Even Jared realises that since he posted up vids in the past for beginners on how to setup their D7000's and D3100's...

  • Will this also work while taking high school senior photos? The school I graduated in lets seniors to turn in their own photos for the yearbook. I'd like to help a few of my friends on getting a photo. Will these also work if I put that to practice?

  • @leo140485 That's what I'm saying: the user manual wil show you and explain the function of every single button on your camera. You don't have to "find out" anything.

  • @SwisssBolla I found out how to do it... I didn't realise there was a button ON the flip switch between AF and MF...

  • @leo140485 Have you tried reading the manual of your camera?

  • @jaredpolin would you recommend the 70 200 for portraits? I use the 24 70.

  • Jared you are not pro bro.

  • Very informative. I appreciate the effort in putting this series together. I've already learned a lot. Thank you.
