Fallout - Secret Underground Nuclear Bunker S.N.U.B Kelvedon

A look around a declassified former secret underground nuclear bunker(SNUB). Oh the whole i felt it was better to show you around rather than talk over it constantly to get a real feeling/portrayal of the paranoia and the forboding crypt-like feeling of the place. Built in 1952 and decomissioned in 1992 this would have been the main bunker for goverment during a nuclear war and features a BBC radio station. Recently the bunker was used in the movie "SNUB" which was filmed almost entirely on location.

Please forgive the aggressive editing in this video i had a few conversations/shots of my kids which i felt i did not want to include in this video.

so technically this is still a bunker... so if a nuke went off and you were in you could just shut the door and you'll ride it out?

We always needed whole networks of these, connected by tunnels deep underground, so that humans could survive for decades after a nuclear holocaust, similar conditions following an asteroid collision, gamma ray burst, or more gradual human induced calamities such as the loss of the ozone layer, severe air pollution etc. Or just to let the Earth repair it's self. To feed the inhabitants, hydroponics could be utilized. For energy, a combination of wind and geothermal could be used I suppose...
