One channel amp dynamics

I just want to display how you can have a lot of veratility out of a one channel amp. 2001 R8 Les Paul Historic w/Duncan Antiquities into a Bad Monkey into a 1974 JMP 50 Non Master Volume Marshall. Cab is a Bogner Uberkab with Weber 1230 speakers. Attenuation from Dr. Z Air Brake.

how much db's did you roll off? Is it usable for home application with your JMP? My 72 JMP sounds great, but older version of ultimate attenuator it looses low end and become spiky. How is it with airbrake?

it was on the 4 setting which is 1 notch higher than the most attenuation. The air brake is the most transparent attenuator I have ever used.

howlow can you get the volume with the attenuator and still get a good overdrive tone?

then you need to try the ultimate attenuator. the best you can get by far, a little spendy though.
