  • I wish that this was available in all states like the one I live in. Most women do not have ANY type of coverage and have to pay out of pocket for all meds and treatment and I think that it is SICK!! It's time for insurance companies and states to recognize that this is a disease and we need to be COVERED. I'm glad that the people of New York and a few other states have something in place. One can only wish that my sisters can be able to have children without paying $15,000.

  • Thanks so much for that information. I am in the same situation u were in, I will give it a try. Once again thanks.

  • WOW!! Thank you so much for this information!! I'm so on it tomorrow. My insurance doesn't cover any infertility procedures just some meds. We've done 4 IUI so far out of pocket. This month was our 4th. if we don't have success this month, our RE recommended we start the IVF process. We were going to try to do a grant through our RE practice but this sound more economically. Thank you again for sharing your information (passing it forward)

  • This is great for the people that live in these states. If you dont live in these states you are just haing to pay out of pocket. Thanks for sharing

  • Sounds like an amazing program, I wish more states did this for their people. Maybe I'll look this up and post it on my written blog.

Most Maryland insurances pay 100% for a life time of tries. like Blue cross blue shield of Maryland. I have that ins, but I live in Washington DC, so I didn't get the full benefit of that, I did get 3 tries and 90% paid.
