@inotaishu1 And by the way, the silver bullet does come from folklore, it simply wasn't a universal concept, only some werewolves could only be killed by silver, others could be killed by mundane means.
And sorry but wolf means wolf and not beast. if it has another meaning than wolf rather means vagabund or outlaw.
This rather generalization and mixing of different traditions and superstitions. Serioulsy she didn't even mention the most common folkloric way to change into a wolf.
