Poor Serafina. She's just a songwriter who plays the harp but now that Joanna Newsom is so popular she'll never get out from under her shadow. And judging from her comments, she's even being faulted for not having the same intricacy as Joanna. Who cares? Fleet Foxes and Grizzly Bear don't have the same intricacy either, yet I love them both.

We shouldn't compare every harpist with Joanna Newsom. There are lots of harpists out there, who wants to make pop/indie music. (mm, including me:) It's like comparing every indie singer & songwriter women with Björk.
