DARK VIDEO.

How rare is this?! Not one, but a PAIR of SD50s is on the point of the A777 intermodal! Both in fresh paint and looking sharp! THIS is what a CSX train should look and sound like!! The SD50 is my favorite EMD locomotive, and seeing how rare they are around here, I ALMOST forgot how mind-blowingly awesome the 16-645F3B engine sounds. Almost. x3 It's like the 645E and 710G mixed together, with awesomesauce drizzled on top! Enjoy the sounds as the train enters the north leg of the wye and heads northbound.

Just past 10 PM on December 29th, in front of Rachel's near CSX's Taft Yard in Orlando, Florida.

  • Don't they?! I just don't get to have this kind of train-gasm very often. x3

  • Those units sure did look and sound great!

  • It sure frikkin' was. 8D

  • This was like the ultimate fangasm moment for you, wasn't it? xD

  • Really?! Whatever SunRail is getting will have 16-645F3B engines in them??

    Am I still alive? x3

  • You'll be hearing this exact sound everyday when SunRail starts up in a few years. At the moment I'm focusing my attention heavily on Lynx buses. Although I do slide into railfanning any way.
