@jgk381 :For your information and others who may read my post, whether in the USA or in other parts of the world, let me remind you of America's racist and bigotted ways. Most ethnic groups experienced bigotry and racism. There is a negative term, name or description of all groups. Nigger, Daego, Spick, Chink, Kike, Pollack, Kraut, Wop, etc.. The word "polak" ( a Pole of the male gender) or "polka" ( a Pole of the feminine gender) are normal words in the Polish language.

I was born in Poland, and I strongly believe that anyone who gets offended by the word "Polack" is a fucking pussy. Not like it even means anything other than 'Polish person' in either English or Polish.

Dr Tomasz Piekot, speaking to Gazeta.pl, notes that the image of the 'murzyn' in Poland is
"brutal. We think they are stupid, dirty and stink. From this we get sayings of the following type: "it stinks as if it's from a murzyn hut", "it's as dark as in a murzyn's arse". It's associated with backwardness, poverty, slavery. We can after all describe someone we are using as, "this is my white murzyn". These are all negative connotations."
