On this program we meet LEO CASTELLI and ILEANA SONNABEND, art dealers who have played a significant role in championing and promoting Pop Art, Minimal Art and Conceptual Art. We'll see "A View from the Sixties" exhibition, curated by SAM HUNTER, at the Guild Hall Museum in East Hampton, Long Island. Culled from the private collections of LEO CASTELLI and Michael and Ileana Sonnabend, this exhibition gives us a glimpse into the art world of the Sixties. Interviews are with Leo Castelli, ILEANA SONNABEND, and art historian and critic BARBARA ROSE.

In 1970 Mr. Germans and Mr. de Knegt Bought a large loft building at (420 West Broadway NY). And persuaded Leo Castelli And three other prominet uptown art dealers. Lleana Sonnabend, John Weber And Andre Emmerich, to Open Galleries In the Building.
