  • wow ... i thought i'de neer seen John acting like that again after the beatles broke up. I mean, i always felt that after 70' he had changed.. But he's so nice in that vid' :) It's like john from the early beatles. [and he says that yesterday cheered him up while in 71' he mentionnes a guy who played it and john was annoyed coz it wasnt one of his own songs]

  • @Korn1holio Hey, it was Cosell who interrupted Monday Night Football to announce that Lennon had been murdered. He may have been the 1st person to do so. it was about an hour after it happened. This interview happed exactly 6 years prioir to the day he was murdered also. Pretty spooky, huh?

  • The Rams would eventually lose this game!

  • We still miss you. John.

  • you yanks really don't get sarcasm. I can tell you as a scouser that he was taking the piss.

  • It seems like a sweet genuine little chat.. no harm.. no foul.. ;-) Good vibes!! :-)

  • Leave it to that overrated, pompous ass to ask Lennon the most trite questions he possibly could.

  • @Longetty lmao what does this have to with fred dryer doing hunter over again anyways he already did do a couple hunters over again in 2003

  • miss John - even miss Howard- but more importantly- will Fred Dryer do Hunter again?

  • @dididoum May Pang, Yoko's assistant

  • @JLiqour oh okay you're right, that immigration stuff probably helped too.. I don't know. :) (being away from yoko made him happy? With that other woman what's her face...)

  • @dididoum Actually he was kinda acting extra goodie goodie "American citizen" because of his immigration status at the time, which was still pending with the courts after the Nixon administration tried to have him deported. He did a number of interviews during this time to help his image. Check out his interview with Tom Snyder when he had his lawyer present. Then again, this was also during his "Lost Weekend" when he was away from Yoko, so his enthusiasm might be genuine.
