4 jumpers is a really light load for an Otter :-), Perris was on a shutdown and we paid to get this Otter in the air with four jumpers on a holiday. The uppers were screaming and winds were strong even on the ground. Since the plane was almost empty the pilot pulled a couple of zero G maneuvers at altitude. This was my first jump in a new jumpsuit designed to reduce my fallrate on slow FS jumps, I knew I'd be floating when the hybrid formed so I just hung out to shoot some video.

  • 7 months of no skydiving is just no good for me as I was s******g bricks just watching this! (Thanks to the Brit weather lol).

But a great job done in capturing the difference in sound of the plane when the 'door' is open and with the engine slowed down. The view and sound from the exit was awesome. Thanks for posting.

  • 7 months?! Get yourself to a dropzone!

  • Zero G is at 1:27 and and 1:45

  • The footage at 4:45 shows how to bring down a canopy in high wind safely. Of course you have to be able to kite it in high wind too, but that's a matter of keeping it flying once you land and staying under it. That takes some practice but is easier than it first seems.

  • Next time put the benches up! there's more room to float and you won't hit them. Weeeeeee! Fun fun fun!

  • great video!

  • i almoset pissed my pants watching this\

  • that was cool above the clouds

  • Ha ha - it made me feel like being in the UK watching - beautiful upwards rain on your lens in the cloud. And I thought that it was only in the UK we went cloud busting.

Impressed with your kiting on the ground - I tend to be a turn immediately and run around the back person but will have to work on this skill. Thanks for posting.

  • LMFAO........Never thought of it that way before:P

  • Punching clouds.....

All the fun of going in without the mess...
