BNI International Conference 2009 - The Pool Incident

At the BNI International Conference in Long Beach, CA, Executive Directors Dave Zemer and Paula Frazier agreed to be thrown into the hotel pool in the name of raising a few dollars for the BNI Misner Charitable Foundation. What started as a playful dare and a couple hundred dollars quickly metamorphosed into a serious wager. With matching funds from Ivan Misner who, along with wife Elizabeth, watched the fun unfold, our group managed to collect nearly $5,000.00 for the foundation. Elizabeth was only too happy to take a lead role in pushing our EDs into the deep end. A spectacular event and proof that anything is possible when alcohol -- and generous networkers -- are involved.
