2 Chronicles 7:14--If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

@landonsoccer12 The truth is, that worshiping God is the most loving thing He can do for us; loving Him is just and right in every sense of just and right. Not worshiping God is the very worst thing for us. Might seem paradoxical a bit but it does make logical sense. Worshiping God (which is only really possible by someone who has been born again) fulfills us; there is nothing more fulfilling. Worship is how we live our entire lives; to His praise and glory. peace : )

I did too. It was my dad's. I used to "borrow" it all the time. My sister has it now, and it works pretty good still.

I had this song on a cassette when it first came out. Needless to say I wore it out. Thank you for presenting this. I feel revival stirring in my heart whenever I hear this song

This song has such a message of hope that we can be restored even though we are as filthy rags.

Wow!! What you said is so true. Today's so-called 'christian' music is more of a grievance to the Holy Spirit than a lot of Rock and Roll.
Steve Camp is truly refreshing, and although I have been in Christ for 35 years, I didn't hear Steve until this evening :(

Wow... I've never heard of Steve Camp eva - he truely is an amazing singer and the words in his songs... I just don't know what to say, I'm stuck for words for once in my life! He is still around, does he still sing?

Steve was very popular in the 80s and 90s. Around the mid-90s, the Christian music labels began selling their labels to secular labels. Steve wrote a theses, I believe it was 1997 about this, how we should not be unequally yoked with non-believers in business. Doing this gave the secular labels the power to determine how the Christian music industry was run. He knew that eventually Christians would have to compromise their songs in order to meet the demand of their now secular labels.

He was right. Look at the condition of the Christian music industry now. The message of the Gospel of Christ is so watered down that most of the time you can't even tell it is a Christian song. He left the industry when this began to happen. Fortunately for us, he does still sing. He goes to churches and performs and minister, and he does not charge for this.

At least I heard he does not charge. He has a website called Audience One or A1M. YouTube doesn't allow links. So just google it and it'll come up. He also has a blog where he posts some very good articles teaching God's Word and talks about current events going on today. You can google Camponthis or go to the link on my channel page. You won't be disappointed. He is an amazing writer and singer.

He's been my favorite since the mid-80s when I first heard of him. His songs are not only songs of praise and worship, but convicting as well, such as this song "Even Now." Thank you for your comments. God bless you!
In Him,
