  • does anyone know the movie name

  • @citizenenergy The Eyes of Van Gogh

  • This portrayal of Van Gogh seems to me so human, so real, so fragile. In watching this, I am genuinely saddened by this man for whom I wish I could help, and whose pain I too understand. Kudos to Mr. Barnett. Outstanding job.

    Thank you so much.

  • It is possible he was shot by one of the boys. But I think it was at his urging that he did so.

  • If anyone can tell me how I can see this amazing looking film, please let me know ASAP!

This portrayal of Van Gogh is like nothing else that I have ever seen. And I've see a few. Believe me!

  • @zthetha i do believe in mental disease such as schizophrenia, ocd, depression etc. ive struggled with it as well as others i know. its caused by malfunctioning brain signals.. too many electrical pulses or not enough "nutrients" causing lack of mental stabilization. you cant function as you want to, you arent in control. it can eventually cause people to kill themselves, sometimes involuntarily. i do believe you CAN overcome most without pills. just more work but well worth it.

  • I MUST see this movie

  • Now I must see this movie! Am reading the book about his life, so yes.

  • @zthetha I so totally agree with you. Pills are no answer either.

  • Bravo Alexander. Bravo!

  • And in over 100 years the psychiatric trade - it is hardly a profession - has not advanced one millimetre. Science is now confirming what the ancients knew - that there is no such thing as 'the mind' - only thoughts - so how can there be such a thing as 'mental disease'

  • just let him paint asshole!!!

  • Superb acting.I thoroughly enjoyed it. I am an artist myself and I can relate to the way you have portrayed Vincent. You are an Oscar Award actor. You have brought out "how you suffered for your sanity" By Don McLean so well.
