@Webcollege The Hummer is a LWB vehicle. An EXTREMELY LWB vehicle. LWB vehicles climb better than SWB vehicles - especially ones with lifts and bigger tyres. It's all about COG and weight distribution.

This vid is massively misleading because it takes a LWB vehicle and "proves" it's better than a D90 by playing to it's strengths and the D90's weaknesses.  It's *DELIBERATELY* misleading.

For a start, a stock D90 would climb better than that. Lower COG. A D130 better still. This vid is BS.

@MadMuddyZuk its becuse u can buy a defender for 1000 dollar race and trow it away. but u cant do that to a hummer. thats why, its not affordable , and + u need to corect your facts, there are hummers on dakar rally

if u think defender is better show us a video that is better, all we see now is one pussy rover.

Everything up to the Paris-Dakar rally. And how many hummers do you see in these competitions? None. Why?

amazing, all you have proved is that simply having a different tires and air pressure can improve your climbing ability. i wouldn't be able to make it up that hill with interco thornbirds running 35psi but get a set of bfg krawlers and run them around 8psi and that hill would be a cake walk

Something really amiss with the LR. Notice the lack of axle articulation? Looks like he has *improved*it by fitting spring that are far to stiff. No wonder it was shit.
