this was where I first heard "Merry little christmas" I thought they wrote it for the show till I heard it on the radio one day... are you sure this is from 1978? there was another one before this that was pretty lousy. I think that was from '78. this is from the early 80s.
That's the quality of the show, the puppeteer and the character right there, when you read emotions and expressions on a hand puppet. Loved this special!
did any of this special change over the years, I THINK i'm seeing things in this id not seen in previous years, such as Snuffy trying to get in the "Chimney" & the interviews
It's not about her being a child; that implies children can't act. There are more children in this special who show more expression in their faces, and I'm sure there were just as many child actors then as there are now. But for whatever reason that girl seems to lack basic emotions. I'm certain they could have found someone better. I'm sorry you feel bad for her, but I'm not going to retract my comment or feel bad about it. It's just my opinion.
