The Awakening expansion pack for Dragon Age: Origins brings a new area, new creatures and new ways to customize the hero and party members. A higher level cap with new spells and party members hopes to make this expansion a brand new experience.

Expansion was decent. I rate DA:O 9.5/10 but I give Awakenings 7.5/10 because don't enough character develpment and it felt rushed.

also I give DA2 6/10 it was boring as heck a disgrace for bioware standards.

@InquisitorPrime I rather enjoyed DA2, though that may be because I played it BEFORE Origins, so instead of being let down by the sequel, it made the original seem even more awesome.

@InquisitorPrime Stop acting like you're such a great critic. It's hard to create high-quality games. There are aspects of DA2 that I love, and aspects of DAO that I too love. Nothing's perfect, but bioware has worked hard to create them. So why the hell are you saying when you do absolutely nothing to contribute to the game other than complaining is beyond me. A disgrace, you say? Have you taken a look at what a prick you sound like?

@dvdylan Have you tried Neverwinter Nights 2? It is on PC. Same game lineage as Baldurs Gate / Dragon Age. If you get the right expansions, the game engine improves. So, if you get the original NeverWinterNights2 & then get Mask Of The Betrayer & then get Storm Of Zehir, you will find the engine is "maxed out" as it were. Much more variety too because, although there are plenty add-ons which arent as important as those expansions (MOTB plus SOZ), there is a level editor- Infinite free downloads!
