Animals are needed for the many things that man does. They have no choice as humans are masters. One day however the debt will be repaid. Tenfold.

Thank you for the heartfelt video. My father was a disabled veteran from WWII. As so many of us understand the tragedy of war, the sad fact that horses suffered great hardship and death without recognition is reprehensible. I have a blog - 2talkhorses - and have shared your video with my readers. Thanks again for creating such a moving documentary, Pat Miran

sad, as i believe the horse is the
single most mistreated animal in
the history of mankind, shame on us,
but thank you for the video, very well
done, however sad

@myhorses4ever I TOTALLY AND EMPHATICALLY AGREE! Selfish human beings destroying innocent lives. Humans have no right to do this to these animals just because they can. Lack of common sense to take horses up against machine guns. Hello? My great grandfather was a war horse person beautiful man but why? Why/how/what on earth were they thinking to do this on horseback?

m great grandfather was a war horse cavalry soldier in britain. Makes me sick these innocent animals being put in the line of fire. The thanks these animals get today is people ditching them to slaughter houses and rescues. No sense of courage or loyalty to these animals. Disgusting. Thank you for explaining this to the general public that need to understand these horses sacrifice and the men who fought in this war with them

It breaks my heart how many horses died. We shall never use animals in war again. Great video!.x

Very well done! The footage of horses used in the war is brilliantly used to tell the story, and your Dad did a great job too.
