  • Matt,

While I understand your point that this movie celebrates his life, I thought your CNN interview was fairly repulsive. You two were almost giddy at the "good fortune" of his death. Seriously, did you watch yourselves?

  • We appreciate all comments about how we appeared on CNN.For the record, BEFORE the CNN interview we made a point to reflect how devastated we truly are at this loss. This man was was our muse. We dedicated our lives at the expense of our relationships and bank accounts to make this film. This is not luck. This is a tragic twist of fate. The fact is,we made a tribute that you usually don't get while you're alive, WHILE he was alive. We were in shock, nervous and followed the tone that the anchor set.

  • We are sorry.

  • Great project! But audio in the trailer is all over the place, too hot, too low, mixed way under the music in one place. I know you had to rush the trailer and you're under the gun but bring in an audio person to fix. Your excellent project deserves it. Good luck and congrats on your deal!

  • Thanks Jim. The audio was mixed in HD. If you watch in HD, I believe it's better. If reupload it will erase this entry. But all will be top of the line when the official trailer is released. Thanks for your support

  • Exploit his death? We made this film BEFORE he died. The fact is, for whatever reason he both turned his back on Hollywood as the industry turn their back on him. This is TRAGIC. We (the filmmakers) spent almost 4 years of our lives, our money to make this film. We made this film about his LIFE. Not his death. In death, this honors John Hughes and the films he left as his mark.

  • "Forgettable movies"!? "Dumb" is subjective, along with acting/writing. But forgettable!?! There is a whole generation of people who will never forget the impact his movies made on them.

Most directors go a lifetime without ever making a mark like one (let alone many) of his films did.

  • I give these guys who made the docu a lot of credit and more power to them for getting the deal picked up. Of course, they love the man. John Hughes! They went on TV because they were invited. They were nervous. Their docu will rock. It's a good thing. I just wanna know if JH was overweight or not, and by how much, when he kicked the bucket. Isn't there a new movie the Bucket List, btw? I hope John checked off all of his before he kicked the bucket...

  • Is this documentary available on DVD? I caught the last half hour of it on IFC once and would love to watch the whole thing.

  • "breakfast club"

    @stephen123334

  • Please post some type of track list for your film. The music selection was nice but I need titles and artists, please!

  • would love a track list to this documentary...great music

  • Horrible documentary, one fat pig and three guys. One of whom has a broken leg, probably got it for being annoying and neurotic, though all four of these idiots are. Only good parts are the interviews with the actors and that's about 10 minutes of the one and a half hour documentary. 1 out of 5 stars.

  • @stephen123334 The Breakfast Club...that's one of the most memorable John Hughes scenes!

  • whats that movie at 0:53 where they guy throws his fist in the air

  • I just got thru watching it and it was pretty lame. I loved the interviews with the people relevant to Johns life, but the Producers and Director of the film made the Documentary about themselves. It felt like they jammed themselves into the movie out of Ego. Every time someone who had something to do with Johns life or a Director that was influenced by him spoke, the Filmmakers had to be emo and Yak about their feelings. sorry, no one cares about you. If you can sit thru them, watch it.

  • cual es el nobre de la cancion del trailer

  • He did not dissapear, man, he became writer and producer for hollywood movies... this is a real joke !!!
