  • ARVANITES:

Have more dignity, don't deny the blood of your forefathers, don't deny your history, culture and language. As you consider yourselves greeks (and greeks are you now but of old albanian origin) why don't you ask the greek government to recognise your rights to preserve this great culture and language of yours, whatever origin it is...look at our brothers in south Italy the Arberesh, they have all the rights for their culture and language !!!

  • You arvanites must fight for your rights you are albanians!

  • @dardha I have no illusions on how history proceeds unaware and uninterested by our stupid ideas and ideals of ethnic clearness and or ancient greatness. You are the one that has illusions of a clean ethic identity that is passed down from ancient times. The Albanian language was formed as a one entity not before 900 AD. Albanians were nothing more than a mixture of different unrelated dacian tribes that in 700 were pushed south west by the Slavic invasions.

  • @dardha Big mistake. Where I live we still perform ancient Greek rituals, that have no relation to the Church. We still have ancient Greek words and phrases, and even surnames that are related with titles given to the ancient 12 gods. Other than that, of course we are mixed with all the people that have passed from our place throughout the centuries. I have Venetian blood amongst other things, as I have Arvanite, Greek, pontian Greek, and probably more that I am not aware of.

  • @erlisthemeli .

Eshte prej filmot BYRON, ala nuk e kam zbolua kengen, u tranova tu e gjete por spo muj.

  • Τους στίχους στα αρβανίτικα και τη μετάφραση αν είναι σε κάποιον εύκολο.

  • Ju lutem kerkoni kete informacionin ne wikipedia Archbishop Ieronymos II of Athens

I kuptosha shume mire me veshje e krejt. Nese keni mundesi shikoni filmin ne netflix ose mundeni me retua dikund.

  • @Lysimachus81 That's exactly the difference between us, my dear neighbour. You cannot be a Greek without the church. Your identity comes from the church. We, being around longer then the church itself have build our identity around the language and blood. We can change the religion and still remain Albanian. You change your religion and are NOTHING. That's sad! Your identity is a Jewish doctrine :o)
