BOBBY SHERMAN - "Little Woman" - 1970

Teen idol, Bobby Sherman, star of "Shindig" and "Here Come The Brides", was a sensation back in the late 60s, early 70s. Like his contemporaries eg David Cassidy, Donny Osmond etc, he had good looks, charisma, was multi-talented, and possessed a certain uniqueness that set him apart from all the others. It's unfortunate that today's teen idols seem to be carbon copies of eachother.

Thank you all for your kind comments, usually I get guys who are jealous of him and get nasty emails! I am glad that so many of us remember Bobby and what a huge icon he was back in the day. He really was the Elvis of our day, and now he's grown and gone on to give of himself and aid others . A very special man, but we have always known that!!!!

You may not like the teenage girls music for this generation, but I can assure you that all the young girls idolising Beiber will grow up and think that their kids music "just isn't the same as in my heyday". Anyone else catch that lipsync flub at 1:11? : ) In any case, I never knew of this artist or song, but I am really digging it. This guy had a ton of soul in his voice. Thanks for this upload, I really enjoyed it.

Bobby has fathered 2 sons and has found a respectable niche as a medic/policeman in Southern California.

He has served as Captain on the LAPD, teaching CPR & First Aid and most recently as Sheriff on the San Bernadino Police Dept.
