Neck pickup and low guitar volume. Preamp volume at 10(out of 12) to show how nicely it cleans up with the guitar volume.

Before I rebuilt it I made a clip of how it sounds when I first bought the amp(stock version). Here it is: http://tonefinder.com/?section=id&value=5422

  • @GhProGamer93

Have you rebuilt the amp to a 2203 or are you playing a stock Windsor?

  • @thorelectronics I'm Playing a stock Windsor...i think...xD

...I have the same Windsor like you just other speaker

  • @GhProGamer93

In this clip my Windsor has been rebuilt to be similar to a Marshall JMP 2203. So it's far from stock circuitry.

Yes, safety is very important, don't open up any amp if you're not sure of what you're doing. Educate yourself on high voltage and how to safely drain filter capacitors.

  • @DaXFactor92 I modded mine with a little solder work. its extremely dangerous to work on your own amp though. There are no bleeder resistors in the windsor to make the caps discharge. you can very easily shock yourself even with the amp not plugged in.

Again, very dangerous unless you know what your doing. Dealing with lethal voltages.

  • My gosh, I want this exact sound from my windsor, how do I do it?

  • send it fjamods.. lookem up online, its costly but for half the price of a good head he'll modify it and theres lots of stuff he can do from 80s to metalcore tones with a clean added as a bonus (2channels instead of one)

  • @Ludawg3055

Updated the info with the schematic.

  • what did you do exactly? im dying to give my peavey a clean tone :(
