I haven't heard Joyce Meyers preach prosperity. In fact most of her meetings are about life's REAL problems and than she match's it with scripture. Yes. She has books and DVD"s out there but that is our choice to purchase them or not. Yes. There are some preachers I have watched and by the end of the show I feel like I watched one of those late night real estate seminars that are on in the middle of the night. Try the spirits..bearing fruit ?

@swoklahoma She does preach the prosperity gospel and has for many years ! She teaches Jesus died spiritually and suffered in hell . She is a multi-millionare many times over .She may teach some helpful things but there are many YT videos that expose some of her serious false teachings .A lavish wealthy lifestyle is the opposite of what Jesus warned about riches and that the apostles said those in ministry should not be materialistic and greedy for gain.You should watch those videos if you can.

@swoklahoma ...What one fails to see, for example: Joyce Meyers...or any others for that fact, bear what one would call, fruit. Everyone of us does. Question is, is it good or bad ? Joyce's Fruit tells on her. If someone is a true follower od Christ, we will obey His commands and live as Jesus did. She doesn't follow what Paul wrote Timothy or Titus. Same as for the other so-called men of God on television. The fruits tell. Some used to have good fruit...then, turned rotten. Yup the fruit tells

Not once did I say it was ok to sell god and ask people to give, what they can't give. Never once did I say that. I love God, I'm with you, not against you, on the issue of prosperity preachers. But I just want to make clear, you, as should everyone, look the information up independantly. Selling god's word is downright wrong, and I never said it was ok for them to do so. Dont' put words in my mouth. I hate prosperity preaching, I love Jesus.

@swoklahoma She is selling the gospel, not preaching it. Plain and simple. She should draw a preacher's salary and then give the rest to feeding the poor and building homes for orphans. This is God's money she is using. They have all convinced themselves that they "deserve" all of this money because look how man people they have brought into God's kingdom. Really? If I am seeking what they already have, I'd question what my motive was for becoming born again.

@Farrellfortoday how can you be ok with her asking people who barely have any money to give to her ministry, to buy her books, and all of her miscellaneous other stuff when all she has to do is sell her toilet seat and feed hundreds. I am not against preachers earning a salary so they can support themselves and their families, but to be making more money than world leaders, selling God's word instead is downright wrong.

Well, thanks for the info, but I will reserach it myself. I believe Joyce Myer to be alot more genuine and humble then many preachers, whether she's a success or not. And God still uses her ministry to reach so many people, I being one of them. On personal issues, her teaching, has been a medium by which God has healed me. I suppose God is good, and will use people for his work, inspite of things. Blessings to you!
